After 5000 miles, Fr. Tito and I have visited 14 of the 30 MLB stadiums. Just another 16 stadiums and 12000 miles to go!
When Did Jesus Know?
Jesus did not descend from heaven as a fully-grown man. He was born as a baby, lived as a toddler, grew up as a body, and come of age a teenager. Like all of us, he followed the natural development of a human being. Physically, this is easy enough to grasp. But what about mentally and emotionally? What about spiritually? Did he develop in these ways as well? More importantly, was there a time when Jesus didn’t know who he was or what he was called to do? The movie The Young Messiah seeks to fill in the gaps of scripture with some imagination, and it’s not terrible.
Connecting with History
This week, Fr. Tito and I had a chance to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. One of the greatest things about baseball is its history, and the museum did not disappoint. In this episode, we reflect on some of our favorite players.

What’s Next?
Fr. Tito and I are celebrating mass this weekend at St. Ambrose church in Annandale, VA, and St. Ann’s in Washington, D.C., before heading out to Chicago for the White Sox game. Hope to catch some of you along the way!
