Summer’s Over, Back to the Routine

Hope everyone has had a great summer! Mine was too hot and too short! Two weeks ago, the elementary students returned to school; last week the high school students, and tomorrow the college students. It’s back to a full schedule here in Macon, and frankly, it’s welcomed. Summer’s great, but I like the routine.

With that, comes the return of a weekly newsletter. I’ve been a bit lazy in keeping up with the posts over the summer, but here are some of the highlights you might have missed.

Great Semester Ahead!

I’m looking forward to a great semester with some new and interesting ideas. Look for things you’ve never seen before in the coming week!

Peace and good,

  1. Thank you for all you do, Fr. Casey, to help us grow in our Faith and love of God. I am with you–as much as I like summer, I prefer the rhythm and routine of the other seasons. May you and your students have an enjoyable and successful school year.

  2. I remember it was last summer when you went around all MLB stadiums (stadia?). It was a blast to see, I think you can do it again next summer (maybe you can ask Fr. Patrick to join too!). I think by now you have an idea on what would work the next time around and what would not so you can calibrate the video to what would reach and appeal to more people. Also, kinda sad you are off Twitter (or X, whatever Elon would prefer to call it). I have been missing the tweets of Sr. Theresa Aletheia Noble for quite some time, but sadly she hasn’t posted in more than a year now. Now, you are logging off too. Anyways, I know there are a lot of issues with that platform. If logging off would be better for your mental health, then it is as a perfect reason as any. Oh, and Upon Friar Review would be coming back now, right? =) All the best to you, Father. Praying for you and all of you in the service. Please pray for us also.
